The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, August 22 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will smooth talk Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) into forgiving him.
Also coming up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will confront their dear old dad. Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will compare notes on Victoria. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will tell Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) she was right not to trust Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Y&R spoilers tease Chloe will hang out in the park with Esther Valentine (Kate Linder). She’ll tell her mom she and Sally have dissolved their partnership. But Esther will tell her she should reconsider. So, when they runs into Sally, Chloe will apologize. However, Sally will tell her she was right all along, because Victor pulled the plug on the new division.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Issues Another Edict To His Sons
Speaking of Victor, Nick and Adam will head to the ranch. “You offered Sally an amazing opportunity and you pulled the rug out from under her,” Nick will say. “Why?” But Victor will say the timing was off. Adam will ask why he’d go through all the trouble to mess with her. Victor will say they’re both presuming too much and he’ll point a finger at Adam. “Son, you’re lucky you have a job, I’ve had it with your constant defiance.”
He’ll tell them he wants the merger accomplished by next week. “There will be a press party where we’ll announce the launch of a new media company called SNA.” Nick and Adam will head to Crimson Lights and tell Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) about what Victor did to Sally. Adam will say he’s afraid he’s going to take over SNA Media next. “Victor has been all over us from day one,” Sharon will reply. “It’s been Victor’s vision of the company from day one, not ours.” She’ll point out it’s like he expects them to fail, so he can come in and save the day. But Nick will disagree and he’ll storm out.
Meanwhile, Audra will tell Nate about her meeting with Victor and that he appreciated her loyalty. “That’s not the reaction I got for my role in this,” he’ll reply. She’ll say things worked out. “For you, for now,” Nate will tell her. Plus, he’ll add there’s a distance between he and Victoria. She’ll ask if he’s done irreparable damage and he’ll say they’ll work through it. But he’ll also issue Audra a warning. “Next time you need a favor like this, look somewhere else.”
At Newman, Victoria will tell Kyle she’s thrilled that Audra hired him. “So tell me, how are things going with your boss?” She’ll ask him if Audra’s talked to him about working with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). But Kyle will wonder why she keeps asking about Audra. And she’ll proceed to tell him all about Audra’s cover-up for Tucker.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Audra Asks Kyle About Loyalty
Not surprisingly, Kyle will rush over to the GCAC to blab everything Victoria said to Audra. “She was fishing for information about you…she doesn’t completely trust you.” Audra will say Nate let her know not to expect any more favors from him. But Kyle will say that’s what Nate does, he looks out for himself. “What about you?” Audra will ask. However, Kyle will promise he’ll always have her back.
Nate will head to Victoria’s office and hand her a rose. “I’m sorry for creating this tension between us, I miss you,” he’ll say. Victoria will tell him maybe she should see this as a warning sign. But Nate will say it won’t happen again. “I’ve heard that before,” she’ll reply. Then Nate will complain that he’s not family, he’s the outsider.
“Your inability to completely trust me has made me unsure that I can trust you,” Victoria will say. He’ll ask her to go away with him for the weekend so they can get past it. “I guess it’s worth a try,” she’ll reply. They’ll make out but will be interrupted when Victor calls Nate, asking if he’s looked over the financials. Nate will say he has and he’s got thoughts. So, Victor will summon him to the ranch. “I don’t like this,” Victoria will say. “My father’s up to something.”
Finally, back at the ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will ask her husband if he plans on threatening Adam that he’ll replace him with Nate at SNA. “Nate is not a threat,” Victor will reply. “He’s insurance.”
